Adjuster’s Assistant / Inventory Specialist

A full-time position to assist Insurance Adjusters, inventory and compile documentation for damaged personal and business property claims.

Duties include, but not limited to:
*Physically inventory damaged personal and/or business property that has been damaged by fire, smoke, water, etc at the loss site.
*Meet with Insured homeowners and business owners and assist them with the preparation and presentation of their insurance claim.
*Type voice recorded dictation onto Excel inventory spreadsheets.
*Do extensive internet and consumer research to support the claim.
*Other various clerical duties to support adjusters, to include typing, correspondence, phone calls, etc.

Requirements:
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
*Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and internet search engines
*Must have the ability to function effectively under pressure and able to meet deadlines
*Must be a detailed oriented team player and possess excellent time management skills
*Must be available for occasional overnight travel
*Ideal candidate will possess strong consumer knowledge, to include retail store names, brand name recognition, clothing material, etc.
